Light shade is made from 1/8 inch Plywood. The shape evolved from a typical rhombus pattern. The current pattern allows for the same pattern of interlocking pieces to be folded inside and outside in a rhythm up and down the light shade. This allows for light to escape out, has it illuminates the wood.

Light shade is made from 1/32 inch birch plywood. The light weight of the material allows for more dynamic movement.
